The Centre for Compassion Focused Therapy, based in New York have allowed free access to a collection of guided meditations.

It might be useful to have some guidance and practice under your belt before embarking on a deep and lengthy meditation. I am always happy to help with an introduction to mindfulness to get you underway. The centre was established in affiliation with Compassion Focussed Therapy founder, English psychologist Dr. Paul Gilbert OBE. These meditations are from The Acceptance & Commitment Therapy Practitioner’s Guide to the Science of Compassion: Tools for Fostering Psychological Flexibility co-authored by Dennis Tirch, and Laura Silberstein-Tirch with Benjamin Schoendorff.
